The number of expected users, duration of use, and type of activity all influence the planning conversation. A short gathering with light refreshments has different hygiene needs than a full-day event with catered meals. Likewise, a small repair crew differs from a larger crew performing dusty, messy, or ongoing work. Customers should identify whether there are existing sinks available and whether the portable station is intended to supplement them or serve as the primary handwashing option. As with portable toilets, a handwashing station needs a firm, accessible placement location and a clear delivery route. Avoid setting it in a tight corner where guests cannot form a short line without blocking traffic. For events, keep it close enough to food or restroom areas to encourage use, but not in a position that crowds serving tables, entrances, or pathways. For construction, select a location that workers can reach safely without walking through active equipment zones. If the property has uneven ground, a narrow gate, restricted parking, or a long private drive, mention those conditions during the quote request. Customers should also state whether the station will be used for a single event, a weekend, or an extended project, because duration and daily use affect rental planning. A site map is not always necessary, but a simple description of the property and intended location can be valuable.
