If the unit is for workers, include the maximum crew count and whether other trades will visit. If the unit is for an event, mention food service, alcohol service, children’s activities, and accessibility needs. These factors help determine whether a standard unit is enough or whether an accessible unit, handwashing station, or more guest-oriented option should be considered. A concise but specific description creates better planning than a broad request for a weekend toilet.

For a short-term rental, delivery timing and site readiness are especially important because there may be little flexibility once an event setup or work schedule begins. Decide where the unit should go before it arrives, and keep the route clear of cars, trailers, temporary décor, tents, and materials. Select stable, level ground and avoid low areas that could collect water. At a party or gathering, keep the restroom near the activity but away from food and the main social space. At a home project, avoid blocking the driveway or the route needed for contractors and material deliveries. Confirm who will be onsite if directions are needed and whether there are gates, codes, or access restrictions. If pickup must happen around a specific event schedule, explain that when discussing the dates. Providing address, contact information, desired placement, number of users, and access notes helps make a brief rental straightforward and useful from delivery through removal.
